Access Through an LMS

If your institution has a Learning Management System (LMS) like Blackboard or Canvas, Visual Classrooms can be integrated seamlessly as an App/External Tool within that system. Contact us at support@visualclassrooms.com to get the launch url, secret, and key to enable LMS integration.

Much of the sign up process is automated, and if your school purchases student licenses, they are automatically applied to student accounts as they sign up.

Canvas Integration

Instructions for using Visual Classrooms with Canvas can be found here. You can also watch the following short video.

For options select “Load This Tool In A New Tab” and the privacy option should be “Public”.

Moodle

Blackboard Integration

Schoology

Visual Classrooms can be found in the new Schoology App store, simply search by name. Add us as an LTI tool, then ‘Add Material’ and select ‘File/Link/External Tool.’

For options select “Open in a new window” and under privacy select both “Send Names” and “Send Email Addresses.” Once added, edit your site, select “Site Tools” and scroll down to expand “Plugins” and find Visual Classrooms and select it. The tool should appear as a link in the menu.
